We set off in search of Stackstead and Capernwray. Through the wilderness of the A65 we came upon Stackstead farm. A lovely converted barn for us to rest our weary heads. This time it was for Mikey to show his disappointment in the lack of rocky caramels; they just wern't on offer!
Saturday comes with a lie in (well for some of us). We arrive at Capernwray without lunch! Whoops! Julia R kindly goes back to get it. The boys (Stephen EK, Peter C and Jonny W) give the brief. Oh you've forgotten it; well you'll just have to write a new one. The water is 'refreshing' and 'lovely'! The day starts with a load of floppy long ones (DSMBs – dirty minds the lot of you). The day progressed and then we came to the numpty dive, Becca T's life has been changed forever! By the end of the day we have two new dive leaders, Julia and Becca.
The evening was an enjoyable affair. But the best bit was the gourmet food. A lovely homemade Chicken Tikka Masala (no veggies on this trip). Then the pub, unfortunately there were no musical delights this time. Onwards to day 2 where we are joined by another set of boys Dan S, James K and Paul M. We have a collection of dives to do. Ste T lost his temper on one of his SMBs, which resulted in its destruction. The PRMs were next and the stress they caused; although all need to be LOUDER; and maybe quicker; I was freezing after 10 mins sat still at 6 metres. Then came James W numpty dive; but why wouldn't he let Steve T have his coffee! Cruel DL James. The end of the day came along with two new dive leaders Paul M and Dan S. James K had to wait until next weekend for his numpty dive.
